These are my second-favorite movies about spirituality. There are a lot of great films in the list, but some of them like Unforgiven, are surely peculiar to me in terms of why I consider them a “spiritual” movie. My favorite from this list of movies about spirituality is The Fountain.

Kumare (2012)
Billed as “the true story of a false prophet,” Kumare is more than a simple guru expose. New Jersey filmmaker Vikram Gandhi documents himself as he grows his hair and beard to wise-man length, polishes his yoga moves, adopts his Indian grandmother’s accent, and strikes out for Phoenix, AZ to become a guru.
